NEWS at NEWSTEAD English Cocker Spaniels:

Elvis, BIS BISS GCH. Newstead Echoes of Love, ECM has come home to enjoy his well earned retirement - and to sit on Dad's lap every night watching TV and enjoying relaxing!

Hillary, Ch. Newstead Here Comes the Sun, and Elvis are the proud parents of two boys and two girls - one BR boy and three BRTs!

Isaac, Newstead Instant Karma, started his show career with a BANG - Winner's Dog at the Greenville Seaboard English Cocker Club specialty under well known breeder judge Mary Ann Alston! Thank you, Evan and Stacy Threlfall, amazing handler duo, who had Isaac only two days before piloting him to this specialty win! Two weekends later he accumulated another four points, including two BOBs over a special! Isaac finished his AKC championship in 7 weeks, most of which was spent searching for a second major.

English Cocker Spaniels have been our passion since 1996. In Dec. of that year my husband, sons and I brought home our first English Cocker, Blackavar Newstead Abbey. In May of 1998 a vibrant eight week old, Bellflower Reflection, came home with us. Lulu was everything I had dreamed of in an English Cocker Spaniel and delighted us by becoming our first champion as well as having two beautiful and healthy litters. She is the foundation of Newstead English Cockers and is the keystone of who we are today.

The shock of losing Lulu and her chow-mix buddy Zoe in a house fire in 2003 will never leave me. This website is dedicated to her - my first champion, my bed dog, my heart - Ch. Bellflower Reflection - my Lulu.
